Never mind that it's a HOT 95 degrees outside today, Cambria decided it was a great day to wear tights. Why couldn't she have at least picked the white ones with purple flowers???
BY THE WAY . . . .Everything is going great with the new dog. Except for when he crawled under the fence a few days ago and was lost for 3 hours. That was before he had a tag with his name and phone number on it. We searched and searched and SEARCHED for him but could not find him anywhere. Thanks to our fabulous neighbors, the Dipo's he finally made it home safely. Other than that, he (and we) are adjusting well. NOW Cambria says she wants a zebra for a pet, but not a lion because they are too scary and not an elephant because they are too . . . . . . . . loud!

Our latest addition!
We got a dog!!
The kids have been wanting a dog for awhile (well, mostly Cambria). Never mind that I have wanted a dog FOREVER, but when CAMBRIA wants a dog, it's suddenly a great idea. Anyway . . . he came with the name Rosco, which I think we will keep. He is a Shorkie (a mix between and shih tzu and a yorkie - -I personally don't see any yorkie in him). He is around three years old. We wanted an older dog that wouldn't be quite as hyper as a puppy. We also didn't want one that was going to chew everything up. Oh, he's potty trained too (yay). He slept on Conner's bed with him last night since that is the only furniture I will allow. When Conner woke and came down stairs this morning Rosco was SO excited to see him! Looks like he found a new buddy.

Oregon
Cambria and I took a quick trip to Oregon to visit my Grandpa Pitcher. We went with my mom and dad, Jennifer, Adam and baby Gavin. It was a quick trip but we had a great time. The only thing that would have made it better is if Ryan and Conner could have come too.
Visiting with Grandpa
The beach - - it was a treacherous hike!!
Lunch at our favorite spot, Mo's
Visiting Grandma Pitcher's grave.
Dinner with the cousins. Cambria had lots of fun.

Yellowstone Bear World
We took a quick trip to Idah over Memorial Weekend to take the kids to YellowStone Bear World. It was tons of fun! There was a riverwalk right behing our hotel. It was very cold and rainy, but the trees were so pretty!
Of course we NEVER stay at a hotel without a pool. We spent a lot of time here. Conner was quite a goofball! There was never anyone else there so we had the pool all to ourselves.
At Bear World, we got to see the baby bear cubs who were only a few weeks old. Cambria was so sad that she didn't get to feed them a bottle like she saw some of the other kids doing. She was too young. In the petting zoo we fed the goats, deer, roosters and the big pig!! We rode the tour truck and were able to feed the bears. Their favorites were donuts and fruit pies.
