Herriman Football

I just happened to get a great shot of Conner running the ball last week at his football game. I love that you can see all the other players running after him. Unfortunately, no touchdown this time.

The Witches are Out!

My mom, sister and I took the little kids to see the witches at Gardner Village last week. We had so much fun looking at all the witches and Halloween decor. It makes me excited for fall! The girls looked darling in their Halloween skirts.

7th Grade

Conner made it through his first week of middle school. He didn't get lost, or pushed into a locker, or anything else detrimental. He loves middle school and says "there are a lot of hot girls and you can have pizza for lunch every day if you want!" What more could a 12-year-old ask for!

Stampin' Up!

I have decided to start selling Stampin' Up! again. I have missed it so much - - mostly doing classes and getting together with friends. To kick things off, I am hosting an open house on Thursday, September 2nd from 7-9 PM. Come check out some of the new SU products, the new catalog, and a preview of my upcoming classes. There will be free make and take projects, prizes and refreshments. Everyone is welcome, bring a friend too. Let me know if you need directions to my house. Hope to see you there!

Kindergarten

Cambria started kindergarten this week. I'm not sure which of us was more nervous. The parents got to stay for the first half hour to do a few projects with the kids and read a story. As she sat at her table, she kept looking back to make sure I was still there. When it was time for me to leave, she looked so scared it was hard for me not to cry. I knew I had to keep it together for her sake. When she came to tell me goodbye, I put on the biggest smile I could muster up, and told her to be brave and have a fun day. I was a bit teary, but I didn't cry. Neither did she. I am so glad she has a few little friends in her class that she knows.

9 months!

Baby #1

My baby isn't so little anymore. He's 12!!!! Can you believe we even wear the same size shoe? Not that I am volunteering to share my shoes with him . . . . that's just wrong! Happy birthday bud, love you.

Seven months!

Where has the time gone? I can't believe Little Q is seven months already! Time for another. . . I THINK NOT! :)

Cambria Turns Five!

I can't believe Cambria is 5 already! She is still my baby (even though she acts like she is 16 at times). She had a blast at her birthday party.

How I know the Easter Bunny is a boy!

This year the Easter Bunny left quite a mess at our house. There was string everywhere! The kids had to follow it all through the house and it finally led outside to. . . . . . . A trampoline!!

Here's the part about EB being a boy. As you can see, the trampoline isn't set up all the way. That's because it was put together wrong the first time (or two). My guess is that EB didn't read the directions, but according to him, "the directions were wrong". Whatever.

After the kids followed the string and discovered the trampoline, Conner seemed pretty excited and said something to the effect of, "oh cool, we got a trampoline." Cambria, on the other hand, just looked out the window for a few seconds then nonchalantly said "we saw it already." They had looked out Cambria's window first thing when they woke up that morning to see if it had snowed. Conner said, "Cambria, I told you not to say anything!"

Valentine's Day 2010

Since Ryan and I went to dinner for Valentine's day on Saturday night, I decided to make the kids a special dinner ON Valentine's day. They thought it was pretty cool.
