Great Job Conner!

Wow! you got 100% on your spelling test that you were so worried about, and look what great handwriting you have! I can't believe some of those words - - pretty hard! I am so proud of you!!

"Could you take a picture of me?"

Cambria's new favorite thing is having me take her picture. She likes to pose, or she likes me to take pictures of the back of her and of her feet! We also take picture of her stuffed animals. This day, when she asked, "could you take a picture of me?", how could I resist? Never mind the fact that she had just woken up and was in her underwear! You'd never know. :)

Who I am

I can't believe how grown up Conner is starting to look. He's not a little boy anymore :( I loved this picture so much that I had to scrap it. He looks just like his dad with his adorable crooked little smile.

Happy Birthday Jennifer!

It's my little sister's 31st Birthday today. We are celebrating by going out to dinner at her favorite restaurant, the Bonsai Steakhouse - - that is, if they can make it down the canyon in the snow storm. I got her some adorable fuzzy socks. Since she's pregnant I figured it's the only thing that's sure to fit right now.

Princess Robert

Out of all the pictures I took on Christmas, this is one of my favorites, so until I have time to go through the rest of the pictures, this will have to do. When Cambria saw it she said, "he's not a real princess . . . . . he's a pretend one"! Yes he is Cambria, yes he is. Just kidding bro., you know I love ya!!

Visit with Santa

We went to see Santa a few weeks ago. Conner did great, of course. He said he wanted a Brett Favre jersey and a PlayStation game. Cambria was a little shy but she didn't cry at all. She asked for a baby doll.

Snow Much Fun!!

Playing outside on the first REAL snow day. It was so cold!

Daddy hooked the sled up to the four wheeler and pulled Cambria (along with the rest of the neighbor kids) around the neighborhood. She loved it!

Swimming with Santa

We went swimming with Santa last night - -well, Santa didn't actually swim, he just sat and watched all the kids swim. He looked so cute in his Hawaiian shirt and swim trunks (especially after I did a little photo shopping, some of you know what I am talking about). Cambria though he was great! She even posed for a picture for the Salt Lake Tribune!

I finally changed my blog header! My cute friend Heidi is now designing digital papers and kits for Little Dreamer Designs. Go check out her kits, they are gorgeous! My header is made using her Vintage Christmas kit. THANKS HEIDI, I love it!!

Our Gingerbread House

It has become a tradition to make a gingerbread house every year at Christmas time. The kids love it!! I was worried about them getting sick from all the frosting and candy they ate - - who knows how long that stuff has been sitting around before they actually ship it out to the store for the holidays! Luckily however, all was well.

Thankful for You

I love Thanksgiving and thinking of all there is to be thankful for. My family is at the top of my thankful list. I would be so lost without them. When Commer came home with this cute card he made a school, I knew it was a keeper! As a parent, it is easy to get wrapped up in all the responsibilities of raising children - - somethimes I wonder how much I am actually teaching my children (good and bad). It's certainly not easy being a parent. I'd even go so far as to say it is the hardest job I have ever had, but the rewards are definitely worth it.
