Thankful for You

I love Thanksgiving and thinking of all there is to be thankful for. My family is at the top of my thankful list. I would be so lost without them. When Commer came home with this cute card he made a school, I knew it was a keeper! As a parent, it is easy to get wrapped up in all the responsibilities of raising children - - somethimes I wonder how much I am actually teaching my children (good and bad). It's certainly not easy being a parent. I'd even go so far as to say it is the hardest job I have ever had, but the rewards are definitely worth it.

Potty Time!

I've dreaded it for weeks now, but finally decided Cambria mush be potty trained. I was a bit flustered after 6 accidents before the first days end. She was so sick of me asking every 15-20 minutes if she needed to go potty. I thought for sure she would be traumatized for life. Finally, thanks to a tip from my darling friend Lisa I told her that there were "fishies" in the toilet that needed to be fed. I even went so far as to sneak a gold fish cracker in the toilet every now and then. I know you are laughing, but when YOU potty train a 2 year old you can do it your way. All I know is that it worked for me! Except for nap time and night time, we are almost 100% potty trained! YAY!!

I Finally Did It!

Look, I did it! I finally created a blog - -after several friends telling me I just HAD to do it! I have to admit, I was a bit apprehensive. It seemed so intimidating, but I did it. Now, I just have to figure out what to post! Stay tuned!!
